In common rewritable media, the recording layer wears out with each write, which reduces their quality. However, with Verbatim rewritable media, the recording layer returns to its original state after each erase cycle, and the disc is perfectly ready for another recording. DVD-RW is a medium for sequential reading and writing, primarily intended for video recording and continuous backup of computer data. DVD-RW discs can be written to more than 1000 times.
