Testing in accordance with the industrial standard ISO/IEC 10995, conducted by Millenniata, shows that the expected lifespan of M-Disc DVDs is 1,332 years, with only 5% of discs showing signs of data loss after 667 years. The expected lifespan is therefore several hundred years. That means that when storing your valuable photos, music libraries, medical documents, or other data, you can be sure that everything is on a disk that will last for several generations.
