Verbatim M-Disc BD-R Verbatim M-Disc represents a new standard in digital storage, designed to preserve and protect files by engraving information into a patented layer that is rock-solid and resistant to light, temperature, and humidity.

Testing in accordance with the industrial standard ISO/IEC 10995, conducted by Millenniata, shows that the expected lifespan of M-Disc DVDs is 1,332 years, with only 5% of discs showing signs of data loss after 667 years.

The expected lifespan is therefore several hundred years.
